I’m rather late with my round-up this week, as we were out at the Wychwood Festival all day yesterday. Half-term has been a pretty mixed bag for us, with some ups and downs and far too much rain.
Here’s our week in pictures…
Day 145 – Sunday 25th May – my son decided to have a kick around in the garden after he was ready for bed.
Day 146 – Monday 26th May – Bank Holiday Monday, so we went to Weston-super-Mare for the day.
Day 147 – Tuesday 27th May – one of those days when not a lot happened. So thank goodness I have a garden which keeps providing me with new flowers to photograph!
Day 148 – Wednesday 28th May – we went out for a few hours with my family to Tewkesbury, despite the dreadful weather. This photo of Tewkesbury Abbey was taken from a boat on the River Avon.
Day 149 – Thursday 29th May – it all kicked off in our house and it was all down to this thing – the Xbox.
Day 150 – Friday 30th May – with the Xbox out of action, the kids squeezed in a game of badminton in the garden.
Day 151 – Saturday 31st May – we all went to the Wychwood Festival for the day and had a fantastic time. We went to meet my favourite band, The Levellers, for a signing – this is bassist Jeremy signing my son’s CD.
Linking to Project 365 with TheBoyandMe Pop over to see what others have been doing with their week.

Looks like it’s been a busy half term. Must visit Tewkesbury some time soon – it’s been years.

It’s been ups and downs, but on the whole it’s been fun! Tewkesbury is a beautiful place.

Never hurts to be late to a linky because you’re out enjoying life 🙂
June 2, 2014
Thank you! That’s exactly what I thought! 🙂

Looks like a fun packed week despite the rain and I do’t think you are the only household that has sibling arguements over games boxes
June 2, 2014
Thanks very much, I didn’t think we were! Kids can be such a nightmare!

Interesting isn’t it that when we take the screens away, they find all sorts of other things to do? You seem to have found a nice mix of outdoorsy photos despite the dreadful weather – poor you 🙁 My middle child has those funky green/daisy shorts! Love the pic of the boat, especially 🙂

The badminton has been great for keeping the kids amused. The weather has been very up and down, but was good on the two days that really mattered!

Would love to go to Wychwood soon – didn’t realise it fitted in with half term week this year!
June 2, 2014
It’s always the last weekend of May half-term. We’re definitely going to go again next year, we might even brave three days!

Sounds like you had a super busy week Sarah! Weston super mare looks wonderful and Tewsbury is where my husband has relatives funnily enough. I spend far too much time taking photos of flowers, especially covered in rain. Rather enjoy it as you probably know! Hope you’ve had a good weekend 🙂
June 2, 2014
It’s been a good week, thanks. You certainly are the queen of photos of flowers!

Fabulous mixture of photos for the week. I can almost feel the sand/mud oozing on one’s bare feet in Weston-Super-Mare and what an amazing flower and shot!
June 2, 2014
Ooh, yes, the sand is very muddy at Weston! It certainly is a lovely flower 🙂

Love the flower shot, and the boat and reflection is gorgeous. Sounds like a mostly good week, despite the rain!
June 2, 2014
Thanks very much. It’s been a good week apart from the Xbox argument and the rain!

Looks lie a similar week to ours with ups & downs & too much rain. I saw the levellers live years ago in Germany when I didn’t even know who they were. It was a good night x
June 3, 2014
Brilliant, I’ve seen them in Paris and Belgium too – both deliberately. I made the trips especially to see The Levellers! x
June 2, 2014
The pic from the boat looks fun. Never heard of this festival, I am not really up with modern things. The Levellers are from Brighton where I live.
June 3, 2014
I’m not surprised you haven’t heard of the Wychwood if you’re from Brighton – it’s a long way away! I think it attracts mainly a local crowd.
June 2, 2014
I love the photo of the abbey and a beautiful photo on the beach.
June 3, 2014
Thanks very much 🙂

Looks like a busy week, not been to Tewkesbury in ages – lovely place #365
