Project 365: Week 21
Day 138 – Sunday 18th May – my second day of walking with Emma’s Army to raise money for Cancer Research – and this time I took ALL of the kids with me! They did very well to walk over 8.5 miles, not bad for an 8 year old!

Day 139 – Monday 19th May – while my kids and I were off walking with Emma’s Army, my husband worked hard on the garden. But the dandelions keep on appearing!

Day 140 – Tuesday 20th May – it’s over two months since our new bathroom was completed, and finally we have a bathroom cabinet! I like that it makes the bathroom look a bet less clinical.

Day 141 – Wednesday 21st May – I went to a networking event! I never had to do this sort of stuff when I worked at the council. I wore these shoes (yes, my feet are big).

Day 142 – Thursday 22nd May – we had some gravel for the drive delivered and my younger son shovelled nearly two tonnes of it!

Day 143 – Friday 23rd May – a bit blurry, but this is my kids walking home from school in the rain. My daughter is in her own clothes because she’s just taken part in the school talent show (more on that in next week’s Loud ‘n’ Proud).

Day 144 – Saturday 24th May – a ‘good day for the garden’ ie it rained all day. These pansies are in our hanging baskets and I love the delicate purple colour.

love your photos, that bathroom cabinet looks amazing!!!! #project365
Thank you! We’re really pleased with the cabinet. x
Oh wow Sarah well done with the walking to raise money for Cancer Research and roping in the kids! Loving the bathroom cabinet, looks nice and roomy! Hope the networking event and talent shows went well!
Thank you, Charly, the walk was fab. We love our bathroom cabinet. I found the networking event quite hard, but I’m not giving up!
The bathroom looks fabulous – we had ours done 8 yrs ago and is now looking tired and need of a revamp, one day! Love the shoes 🙂
That’s the problem with houses, they always need re-doing! We hardly ever re-did our old one, it must have looked dreadful!
Well done on your walk. They did really well over 8 miles and what a beautiful view x #365
Thanks very much 🙂
Lovely set of photos. I’m liking the cabinet. Our bathroom was ‘done’about 5 years ago – still no tiles above the sink and no cabinet – but then we have 2 doors in the room so no wall space
We’ve had a day of shovelling gravel too – trying to relevel out the drive – made easier having a tractor to move, tip and start the smoothing process!
I’m sure shovelling gravel would be easier with a tractor! It was good to keep my son out of mischief and he earned a few quid for his troubles!
Lovely photos of your week. Well done to you all on the walk, love your shoes and that shot of the dandelions is beautiful x
Thanks very much 🙂 The shoes aren’t that comfortable, but at least I don’t have to walk far in them! x
Sarah that bathroom cabinet is beautiful i love it! i am also loving your shoes!! so pretty x
Thanks very much, Jaime! We’re very pleased with our bathroom cabinet! x
Another busy week. Loving the look of your bathroom cabinet. Well done on the walk and great use of child labour for the drive.
It’s always a busy week! We need to use child labour more often! It kept him out of mischief and he made a few quid out of it, plus it freed up my husband for other stuff. Result!
Well done to the kids for walking so far. That’s no easy walk. And I love your bathroom cabinet. I always get tempted to stick all our towels in the bathroom but ours is teeny tiny so it’d look really cramped.
Thank you, it wasn’t easy and they did brilliantly! That’s just a random sample of nice towels – the scruffy ones are still stuffed in the airing cupboard!
I have major shoe envy!
Adore the first pic – looks like she is taking it all in!
Thanks, I love that pic too! Glad you like the shoes. I think they look fab (although they’re not very comfortable!).
They certainly have! Thanks very much 🙂
Yep, her hair is really long! It’s down to her bum. She’s never had a proper cut, only trims by Daddy!
Great work with the walk for Cancer Research! Well done! #365
Well done on the walk. Lovely views.
