Project 365: Week 37
It’s been a pretty quiet week this week, but nice and warm and sunny, so lots of pictures of flowers!
Here’s our week in pictures…
Day 250 – Sunday 7th September – Cheltenham half marathon day! My husband and daughter kept missing me (I was just too fast!), so no photos of me in action, just this happy one of me at the end.

Day 251 – Monday 8th September – it’s the old cliche ‘the weather always gets better when they go back to school’ and it’s true – bright blue sky and warm sun ever since the kids went back.

Day 252 – Tuesday 9th September – the flowers in our garden are definitely past their best now, but this hint of pink cheers the place up.

Day 253 – Wednesday 10th September – my son had football training in the evening – and his big brother and little sister went along to watch.

Day 254 – Thursday 11th September – it’s been sunny all week. I love how the shadows and the leaves seem to merge into one on our garden wall.

Day 255 – Friday 12th September – one of our guinea pigs, Eric, was getting slightly matted fur, so my son decided to bath him. It was a slightly traumatic process for the whole family, but Eric came out unscathed!

Day 256 – Saturday 13th September – today was all about THIS. In fact, the past few weeks have been all about this – the grammar school entrance exam! Now just four weeks until we get the results. Wake me up when it’s over.

Well done on the half marathon, I am currently chickening out of signing up for one in December… goal for next year I think! Good luck with the entrance exam results, fingers crossed for you. Glad the guinea pig survived the bath 🙂 Love the photo of the leaves and shadows x
Thanks very much! December probably is a bit soon to sign up for a half marathon now. x
Well done on the half marathon, not sure I could do that. Hope the Grammar School exam results go your way – tense times #365
Thanks very much! Just a month to wait for the results – eek!
You see, I told you guinea pigs love baths ha ha! Well done on your run, have you been basking in the glory ever since?
I don’t think he quite loved the bath! It was pretty stressful really – we’ve learned some lessons for next time though! I think I’ve just about stopped basking in the glory now!
Well done on your marathon…I’m very impressed.
ekkkkk everything crossed for those results.
Thanks very much! Everything really is crossed here!
Well done on the half marathon. I love your picture of the wall and the leaves. Looks like a lovely old wall to have in the garden.
Thank you! I love our wall, it’s one of the best parts of our garden!

Thanks very much. It is a tense wait for the results, but I’m going to try not to think about it! x
Great work on the half marathon. Well done! Loving the sunny weather shots. Typical it brightens up like you say! Hope the entrance exam results are what you want them to be! #365
Thanks very much. Wonder if we can get another sunny week this week?
Well done on the half marathon, that’s some achievement! Love the pic of the football spectators lol. #365
Thanks very much. My spectators look very lazy!

Will keep my fingers crossed for you for the results of the test x
Thanks very much, that’s a lovely thing to say! The more fingers crossed the better, I think! x
Congrats on completing the half marathon. The football / rugby chairs look amazing…….finally some comfort after 4 years and I hope the Grammar test went well xx
Thanks very much. So glad we’ve finally got those chairs! I’m going to enjoy sitting on them!
well done on the marathon.
Thanks very much 🙂
Aw Eric, poor little drenched thing. very well done completing the half marathon, extremely impressed. The shot of the white flower/old brick is exquisite.
Congratulations for completing the marathon (and being a bit too fast for your family!). Fingers crossed the grammar school test goes the right way.
You did so well in the half marathon, you deserve to look so pleased with yourself. A marathon next maybe? I love the football shot because it is a familiar site (no surprise there) except our chairs are blue. I’m glad the guinea pig survived, I’m not surprised it was traumatic
Great photos from the week and a massive well done on the marathon.
