  1. great placement for photo opportunities but cant help thinking that they should have faced it the other way so Gromit could see the bridge.

    • True! But it definitely wouldn’t have made such a good photo.

    • It’s fantastic, isn’t it? And we even walked across the suspension bridge, something I could never imagine doing.

  3. Oooo, there’s a link between Aardman productions and Bristol isn’t there? I think that’s where the production company is based (that pic is in Bristol, right?). Fun image Sarah!

    • Yep, you’re right on all counts there! This is Bristol and Aardman is based there. The sculptures are used to raise money for Bristol Children’s Hospital.

  4. Isn’t that the Bristol suspension bridge in the background? Love these Gromit statues popping up over the city.

    • It is – it’s the Clifton Suspension Bridge. We surprised ourselves by actually walking across it (there was a Feathers sculpture on the other side to see).

  5. I cannot wait to explore more of Bristol once Kian starts uni there – that;s if he lets us visit (how long are the Gromits there for?)

    • Sadly the Gromits are only there until 2nd September, so we’re not going to manage to find the last 10. I’m sure you will love exploring Bristol.

  6. I didn’t realise there was a Gromit that close to the bridge! What a lovely location. I think that this is near a hotel I visited for a blog thing a couple of years ago. #MySundayPhoto

    • There was actually a Feathers even closer to the bridge on the other side. We had to walk across the bridge to find it!

    • Sadly not! I don’t have any free time this week and the trail ends on 2nd September, so we’ve ended up seeing 57 out of 67.
