Project 365: Week 50
Week 50! We’re so close to the end of the year!
Here’s our week in pictures…
Day 341 – Sunday 7th December – we visited the Christmas tree festival at the local church.
Day 342 – Monday 8th December – I sneaked up on my daughter and took this photo of my daughter practising her violin in her ballet kit.
Day 343 – Tuesday 9th December – I had the pleasure of watching my daughter singing with the school choir. This was one of the songs they sang.
Day 344 – Wednesday 10th December – I thought I’d better get on and start writing my Christmas cards! These are the designs by my younger two kids.
Day 354 – Thursday 11th December – last year we were living in the wrong house and our Christmas decorations were missing. It was thoroughly miserable. This year, we’ve got some new ones! These are our lovely new lights.
Day 355 – Friday 12th December – we got our first real tree in 14 years and we decorated it with some new decorations!
Day 356 – for nearly two months now my husband has been transforming the stairs – they were painted a very dark brown. There’s been a lot of sanding and a lot of painting, but finally they’re finished!

The bannister looks brilliant, sorting ours out is one of a very long list of things to do! Love the star lights, so pretty. I’ve been enjoying unpacking our old decorations this year 🙂

Thanks very much. You’re right, it’s incredible how much work goes into painting stairs! My daughter was cross when she’d discovered I’d taken the pic, but she looked so lovely!

Thanks very much! We’ve slowed down a bit since we first moved in, but we’re still working on it slowly, but surely! One day it will look brilliant throughout!

Love those star lights. We have the same issue with our banisters – I’d love to paint them white. Job for the new year I think.
Those stairs are pretty impressive, that space underneath is begging for a makeover of some sort; blogging space? Book nook? Love the photo of your daughter playing the violin in her ballet costume.
