Project 365: Week 8
Week 8 of project 365 and it’s half-term! It’s not been the most exciting of weeks – I worked two days, my younger son played football for three days and went to his tutor one morning. But I didn’t really mind that it was a bit boring, because it was my last ever half-term!
Day 47 – Sunday 16th February – the rugby pitch was waterlogged, so my younger son’s rugby team trained on astroturf for the first time ever. It was such a lovely, sunny morning!
Day 48 – Monday 17th February – daughter jumping with Daddy!
Day 49 – Tuesday 18th February – I love taking photos of Gloucester Docks when I go to work, I’m not going to get many more opportunities!
Day 50 – Wednesday 19th February – my eldest has been practicing his violin a lot. I thought the shadow was quite striking.
Nice lights 😉 You’ve reminded me that I have a ton of photos – about two years worth – to sort, print and put into albums. I love phot albums and won’t rely on technology on that one. 🙂
Gosh I can’t remember the last time I even got any photos printed let alone put them into an album, but I really should get myself sorted as it is lovely to loo through albums like that. I love the jumping photo.

I always wanted to play the violin when I was at school but settled on the cornet instead. You’re so organised with your photos! We are forever saying we need to print more!

We must print off pictures again. We were doing in once a year and then we stopped. Loving those lights! You could probably sell those on eBay.
your daughter is so leggy – no wonder she is a good ballerina! ooooh yes those lights are very retro – someone would probably pay a lot of money for them! i did not think anyone actually used a non virtual/computer photo album anymore! lovely to see x

It doesn’t sound uneventful at all, it sounds like a busy half term with everyone enjoying themselves in different ways. I can almost touch your excitement about giving up work 🙂 Oh and those lights are brilliant although I can understand why you’re not so keen!

Tried to comment on this last night but it didn’t work on my phone 🙁 It must be so hard to find photos throughout the week when you have a policy not to show your kids faces. These are really inspired shots – love the violin shadow 🙂
Thanks very much, everyone. I still plug on with my actual photos in an actual album, although I’ve got a little bit behind with organising them.
I hadn’t thought the lights might actually be of interest to anyone – maybe we should take them down carefully when we finally do get them down, just in case!
It is quite hard to find the pics, Suzanne. Sometimes I don’t think I do myself justice with the photos, but I give it my best shot!
The shadow photo is very effective, I think that is also the first photo I’ve seen of daddy.
