The other day, I noticed the washing machine was leaking. When I told my husband, he said: ‘Is there ever a week when something doesn’t go wrong?’. And I could see his point. I did a quick rundown in my head of all the things that were currently wrong. My own car was still in the garage for repairs after my son’s accident.
