Now is that Cheltenham station? Whatever, it works well in black and white. Think it must be the character of the old buildings.
March 12, 2017
It is Cheltenham station. I’ve always enjoyed photographing it because the buildings are quite old fashioned.

That’s a different sort of cross country from your park runs! Lovely old style station. I have friends in Cheltenham but I’ve only ever gone by car.
March 13, 2017
Ha ha, very different cross country style! I can’t imagine it would be easy to get to Cheltenham by train from Cornwall. I’ve certainly never tried it!

Hi Sarah, this photo works really well in black and white. It captures the air of loneliness every station seems to have, even when they are busy.

What a great black and white photo. I think it makes all the little details standout, like the patterns in the woodwork. #MySundayPhoto

Thanks very much! It’s an interesting old station π
March 12, 2017
Love the way the black and white adds atmosphere and character to the photo. You could easily imagine it as being a scene from a film π
March 13, 2017
Thanks very much. I like the idea of it being a scene from a film π

March 13, 2017
A rather surreal evening with my eldest!
March 12, 2017
It looks really good in black and white. Our station is always crowded.
March 13, 2017
Cheltenham will be crazily busy this week with the races, but it does look rather quiet there!
March 12, 2017
Places look quite romantic when photographs in black and white #MySundayPhoto
March 13, 2017
Thanks very much π I think the black and white really improves it!
March 12, 2017
That’s quite atmospheric. Reminiscent of the gloom of the Monday commute – that’s meant as a compliment! Nicely composed. #MySundayPhoto
March 13, 2017
Thanks very much, I’ll take that compliment π
March 12, 2017
