Stationery. There’s something fun about it, isn’t there? Memories of the new pencil case at the start of the school year and filling it with brightly coloured rubbers, sharp pencils still linger after all these years. My daughter loves a bit of stationery too.
So we were very pleased when we saw that Tinc had opened up in Cheltenham town centre. The company, which is a bit funky, a bit kitsch and a lot of fun, whether you’re 4, 44 or more, started up in Bath in 2011 and has just opened its 21st store – in Cheltenham!
Cheltenham hasn’t seen a store quite like this before. There’s the functional – WH Smith and Ryman, plus a few quirky bits and pieces at Paperchase.
Tinc caters for the boys as well as the girls, with complete ranges in some lovely bright colours – blue, pink, yellow, green and even black. Products start with pocket money stationery items, like the bendy eraser at £1.50, right through some lovely stationery gift sets to lovely satchels, rucksacks and holdalls.
My daughter was like a kid in a
sweet stationery shop when we were invited to check out the range. She was overwhelmed by the colours and the range of products. She was fascinated by the electric eraser and loved the colourful water bottles, so she would look like the coolest kid in her class.
I’m sure this shop is exactly what Cheltenham has been waiting for and I know it will be very popular!
My daughter and I were invited to choose some items from Tinc in Cheltenham. All opinions are our own.
