Project 365 week 11
The week my daughter has been waiting for all year finally arrived – her birthday week!
So here’s out week in photos…
Day 68 – Sunday 9th March – a lovely sunny day, so after rugby we went for a walk in the hills.
Day 69 – Monday 10th March – this is our landing, my favourite place to sit and read in the house. Well, it would be. I never have time to sit and read, so my daughter is making the most of it!
Day 70 – Tuesday 11th March – my daughter posed for me in her Sport Relief onesie. She’s worn it for quite a few days now and is refusing to let me put it in the wash!
Day 71 – Wednesday 12th March – I haven’t got long left at work now. I spotted this on the wall at work for the four of us leaving at the same time.
Day 72 – Thursday 13th March – the day before my daughter’s birthday. It’s family tradition that Mummy and Daddy get a ‘grotto’ of presents and decorations ready for the morning late at night. Pumba always takes centre stage with the cards in his mouth.
Day 73 – Friday 14th March – my daughter’s 8th birthday! Daddy bought her a surprise I’d always said she couldn’t have – a hair donut. She couldn’t stop laughing when she saw that Daddy had broken Mummy’s rules.

Good old Frankie and Benny’s; our favourite restaurant and great for birthday meals. Love her face with the hair bun, she obviously saw the funny side in that gift. Love the Sport Relief onesie I would have got one for the boys but we are overrun with onesies and I don’t think I could fit another one in the cupbard.

lol what is it Daddy break the rules .. my hubby would of done it too! i love the fact you have a quite space to read in your house honey .. one day you will get to sit and read there i am sure x

Lovely pictures – the grotto is a great idea – and the role for Pumba is a masterstroke! Hurrah for hill walks and towers and pizza. Nearly there with work now!

Love that you all like the donut picture! It’s a funny squashy thing you put in your hair to create a bun, Mummy Mishaps. In my opinion she doesn’t need it as her hair is very long.
I don’t like them because I think they look chavvy, Erica! Not everyone agrees with me, but that’s my opinion!
I think everyone else will have terrible hangovers after the leaving do, Mother Wife Me, but you’re right, not me! I’m really looking forward to having the best night 🙂
I KNEW she would love that hair doughnut! I also have a special chair for reading which I LOVE but is far too close to the television which is often too tempting 🙁 What a lovely week you’ve had. x
