This week has mainly been about the Team Honk relay, with a little injured wrist thrown in and an awful lot of rain (nothing new there then).
So this is what we’ve been up to this week…
Day 40 – Sunday 9th February – my last training run before my Team Honk Relay. I took a screen shot of my split times, which I was rather pleased with!
Day 41 – Monday 10th February – it’s my daughter’s birthday in a few weeks, so she decided to get organised! Among other things she made a birthday countdown chart.
Day 42 – Tuesday 11th February – the Team Honk baton finally arrived in Gloucestershire! I went to meet Julie from Julie’s Notebook and her lovely dog Freya as she set off on her walk.
Day 43 – Wednesday 12th February -my daughter stuck the birthday countdown chart on her bedroom door. She injured her wrist, so she ticked it off with her left hand.
Day 44 – Thursday 13th February – finally it was my turn to run the Team Honk relay! I met up with Joy aka Pink Oddy aka Mr Blobby at the end of my 10 and a bit miles.

Well done on Team Honk. Very impressed with how even your splits are. I do think someone is missing a trick by not selling a birthday countdown calendar like an advent one.

Thanks very much, everyone, I did really enjoy doing that Team Honk run! I was pretty pleased with my splits too, Erica. I’m sure someone should cash in on the birthday advent calendar!
The wrist got better very quickly, I’m pleased to say. It wasn’t broken and made a miraculous recovery after about 72 hours, which was a real relief. x

Thanks very much, Nikki, I absolutely loved doing Team Honk. It’s certainly a relief about the wrist. On Friday she was totally miserable with it and not herself at all, but she was back to doing handstands by Saturday evening!
