It’s been another busy week for us. We might be in the new house, but there’s still so much to do! We’ve worked really hard this week on making it feel more like home and we’ve done a pretty good job.
So this is what we’ve been up to this week…
Day 12 – Sunday 12th January – I started this week like I started last week – with another incredible sunrise on my morning run.
Day 13 – Monday 13th January – my younger son loves having his own room and the desk under his new high bed.
Day 14 – Tuesday 14th January – I went back to work and took this photo of Gloucester cathedral at lunchtime. It’s going to be used for the fundraising page for Team Honk Gloucestershire.
Day 15 – Wednesday 15th January – my daughter sang in the massive Young Voices eventย at the NEC in Birmingham. It was incredible.
Day 16 – Thursday 16th January – our bedroom has been transformed by the new curtains and pole. The painting isn’t bad either! There’s no sign of the pink border there!
Day 17 – Friday 17th January – it just keeps raining and our village has a series of rivers and lakes all down the road. Once the school run traffic has gone, there’s some amazing reflections.

What a beautiful sunrise! The sun does not even come up here until after I get home from the gym. The cathedral is impressive as well.
Am I mistaken, or is your son wearing a Boy Scout neckerchief? It looked very familiar as my husband is a Scout leader and my oldest boy is now a scout as well.

You really are taking the new house to task aren’t you? I’d be the same, no waiting for months to redecorate while everything has been taken out of the boxes, while it’s all still packaged is best! Love those curtains, very cheerful.
Thank you for linking up to Project 365

Thanks very much, everyone! So many people like my sunrise ๐ The cathedral is fab. I don’t think it’s possible to take a bad picture of it.
We’re certainly not hanging around with the house, and I promise lots more pics of progress over the coming weeks. I can’t wait to show you all the finished bathroom (mainly so I can have a nice shower!).
The show was absolutely brilliant! If your kids ever get chance to take part in Young Vioces, encourage them to go for it!
