  1. Well done to the lad. I used to love displaying my hard earned badges when I was in the girl guides.

  4. Top work on working hard for those badges.

I was never one for scouts so missed all of the adventures.

  7. Ah lovely. My son loved beavers for a bit and the. Decided he didn’t like it any more. Would love him to get involved but no, his friends are but not him. Oh well. Hope he enjoyed his camp.

  10. Thanks very much everyone, he had an amazing time. Those are camp badges rather than badges he’s earned, but each one represents a camp he’s been on. Was very impressed that he’d sewed his own latest badge on before he even got home from camp!

  11. I thought they were the camp badges, I sew them onto a fleece blanket for them on which they also have the ones from Daddy’s shirts (E has the scout ones and T the cubs.)
Time I taught mine to sew them on I think, that’s very impressive! x

  12. Bought my son a blanket for his badges, but somehow the badges haven’t quite made it on to it yet! They can both sew their own, which is good, because I can’t! I have to send them to Grandma! x
