Book reviews

I love reading. I love talking about books. There is a small group of women that come to me for advice on what to read and we have a fledgling reading group. I’ll be honest, we talk more about school than books. But we DO still talk about books and we do love them.

I write a very small review of a book every month for the local paper – it’s hidden away in a libraries column and very easy to miss. But I can do better than that!

So I’ve decided to review books on my blog.

I’m not promising to review them every week or every month. I’m not planning to review every single book I read, but I will review them as and when I feel I have something to say.

My tastes are fairly wide-ranging (but always modern), so there will be some variation, but don’t expect anything too eclectic. It is what it is.

I’m not being paid to do this, so you can be certain these are my own thoughts 100%. If by some small miracle at some date in the future someone DOES offer to pay me, I will let you know. But I’m not holding my breath.

Be warned… I do love EVERY SINGLE book I read. They range from good to absolutely brilliant. I can count on the fingers of one hand the books I haven’t enjoyed.

Look out for my first review in the next day or two!
