Project 365: Week 42

Day 285 – Sunday 12th October – a morning at rugby training for my daughter and I, watching my younger son.

Daughter, rugby, 365, autumn

Day 286 – Monday 13th October – it rained pretty much all day. As it was raining, my husband decided to take the car to work rather, than cycle. Which meant I had to walk to the shops. At least it was a pretty walk!

Day 287 – Tuesday 14th October – another autumn flower from my garden. Raindrops seem to have been pretty much a constant lately!

Day 288 – Wednesday 15th October – I saw these tiny fungi on a walk – I think they just prove how damp it has been recently.

Day 289 – Thursday 16th October – the weather improved a little bit! This was taken in my garden.

Day 290 – Friday 17th October – my daughter has been practising hard for her grade 1 tap exam tomorrow. She won’t be able to do her exam in those Children in Need socks!

Day 291 – Saturday 18th October – my daughter had her tap dance exam and wrapped up her brother’s presents ready for Monday!

  1. Hope the tap exam went well. My girl gave up on ballet and tap about a year ago ๐Ÿ™ Now swimming is her thing. Love the mini fungi!

  3. Love the nature shots this week. Seems to be a good autumn for fungi – we’ve seen quite a lot of it around. Glad your daughter is well wrapped up for rugby.

  6. I hope the Grade 1 tap went well. Clio is due to take Grade 3 this term and wants to give up, seams such a shame when she is just getting good.

  7. Cool socks! I’m sure she’ll ace her exam. I’m loving all the colours of Autumn right now. About the only thing about the cold weather I like really ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Me too! Not a fan of the cold and the dark, but I do like the autumn colours. She was very pleased with the Pudsey socks! Thought they looked so cute with the tap shoes just because they were so wrong with them!

  9. Lovely to see photographs this week which show that there is still such life in the natural world, despite the approach of Winter.
