Another busy week of work means my photos are suffering, but I can’t moan!
Here’s our week in pictures…
Day 137 – Sunday 17th May – we headed to Bristol for a few hours to wander around. I loved this rather incongruous street art.
Day 138 – Monday 18th May – my work continues to go well. Today I did work for four different clients before lunch. That has to be a record. I also reverted to wearing two hoodies to work, it’s so cold!
Day 139 – Tuesday 19th May – is it REALLY May?! Today I switched on a heated clothes airer specifically to keep myself warm. Another day of lots of work and bad weather, so I struggled to find a photo until I spotted these drawings of Tudor roses by my daughter.
Day 140 – Wednesday 20th May – it’s really hard taking pictures when I’m working as hard as I am at the moment. I spotted this sky out of the window at about 9pm. It looks like a picture in a frame, but is just the sky in a window frame!
Day 141 – Thursday 21st May – I excelled myself with work today – I wrote nine articles and an information sheet, proofread a client’s publication and ran another client’s social media account – all before I picked the kids up from school! And I spotted this poppy among the weeds in the garden.
Day 142 – Friday 22nd May – back to the dermatologist and a new cocktail of medicines – an increased dose of Roaccutane, a different antibiotic and a steroid cream. My aim is to be looking halfway normal in time for Britmums Live!
Day 143 – Saturday 23rd May – my daughter and I did our first ever Parkrun! She found it pretty tough, but I hope we’ll do it again.

Love the tudor roses, I don’t think I could draw them that well! Well done on the Park Run, would love to do something like that once I have had this baby. #365

Thanks very much, so do I! The Parkrun was fun – I’d definitely recommend it! x

Love that Poppy photo, just beautiful. Well done on getting all that work done, you will have to give me some tips at BritMums! Hope the meds get you heading in the right direction x
May 24, 2015
Thanks very much, the poppy was a lucky find! Happy to give you advice at Britmums, although I think it’s just hard work, determination and motivation! x
May 23, 2015
It sounds like you have been busy….
Wednesday’s photo is brilliant! It does look like a photo frame!
Well done on the park run x
May 24, 2015
Thanks very much, I have been busy! I like the way Wednesday’s photo looks so weird! I had no idea how it would turn out! x
May 23, 2015
Fingers crossed for ramping up the roaccutane and super well done to BOTH of you on the parkrun! X
May 24, 2015
Thanks very much! My fingers are tightly crossed for the Roaccutane! I’m hoping to persuade my daughter to do Parkrun again 🙂 x
May 23, 2015

May 23, 2015
Can’t believe it’s Britmums soon and I’m going to miss it, boo!! I hope this second batch of meds do their stuff and your skin is not painful anymore very soon x
May 24, 2015
Sorry you can’t go to Britmums! I can’t believe how quickly it’s coming around. My fingers are firmly crossed for the new medication! x
May 23, 2015
Love the park run shot! Still psyching myself up to do one 🙂
May 24, 2015
Thanks very much. You can do it! It’s a real mixed bag of people there – you’re really racing yourself rather than anyone else.
May 23, 2015
how lovely that you and your daughter completed the aprk run side by side 🙂 well done to you both on doing it
that outdoor rose is stunning. i hope your meds help your skin lovely – might see you there although undecided whether or not to attend x
May 24, 2015
Thanks very much, it was lovely to run it with her, even though I know she found it hard. Would be good to see you at Britmums! x

The park run must have been a great release after all the work this week. And what a gorgeous poppy
May 24, 2015
Thanks, that’s exactly what the Parkrun was! I wasn’t able to run as much as usual during the week because of my workload, so it was perfect!
May 24, 2015
fab photo of the poppy and well done on the Parkrun. i really hope you can get your skin under control with the new meds and you’re very strong for posting photos of how it is and who you are.
May 24, 2015
Thanks very much! It’s funny that I don’t mind posting pictures of my skin on my blog, but I won’t have a photo of myself with the family. My FB profile pic is from December, and I normally change them at least once a month, because I haven’t looked normal since then.
May 24, 2015
I love that your youngest joined you on the Park Run. They seem to be all the rage these days, I have local friends who do them all the time. Great that you’re so busy with work too.
May 24, 2015
I’d like the Parkrun to become a regular thing, but it does rely on my daughter wanting to do it. She found it fought yesterday! It’s really good having so much work 🙂
May 24, 2015
You’ve certainly been productive. Bet your clients are impressed.
Well done on the park run, must be nice getting to run with your daughter. Love the poppy and sky photo. I love finding ‘frames’ for pictures.
May 24, 2015
Thanks very much! I think my clients are pleased 🙂
It is lovely to run with my daughter, even though she found it quite hard.
May 24, 2015
What a pretty poppy! It is so cold for May I think. Bring on summer!!
May 24, 2015
Thank you! I was so pleased to spot that poppy in the garden 🙂 The weather has been so weird lately. I’m definitely ready for summer!
May 24, 2015
Love those Tudor roses. I really hope your medicines and creams help. I wish I was coming to BML to say hi & give you a hug. Well done on the running & work xx
May 24, 2015
It would be lovely to see you! There’s so many people not going to BML this year 🙁 Thanks, my fingers are crossed for my latest batch of medication! x
May 26, 2015
Love the poppy and that street art. The ‘picture’ through your window is fab too. Well done on the Parkrun 🙂
May 26, 2015
Thanks very much! The ‘picture’ through the window was a bit random, but I quite liked it! Hoping to persuade my daughter to do another Parkrun now!
May 29, 2015
Love the roses. You have been really busy with work – I knew that, but hadn’t quite realised how much.
