We all have them, but they’re all different. Bodies are endlessly fascinating for kids. And they haven’t learned that there are some things that we just don’t talk about. Probably best not to read this one when you’re eating.

LG age 4 1/2: How do ladies get it not like that? (Hair ‘down below’)

LG age 4 1/2: Can I ask an important question? Why do my eyebrows go darker in the winter?

LG age 4 1/2: I can feel my heart beeping in there. Why does it beep in there?

LG age 4 1/2: Why do boobies get big like Mummy’s? Why aren’t they like mine?

LG age 4 1/2: Do you think your hair is the colour of a Crunchie?

LG age 4 3/4: Do you know how I check if my bum’s clean? I pull them up and count to 10, then pull them down again and check if they’re dirty.

LG age 4 1/2: (In Sainsbury’s) Look! Toblerone! Like B1 has! (She means deodorant)

LG age 4 3/4: How do disabled people swim?

LG age 4 3/4: Do teenagers wear bras to cover their boobs up?

LG age 4 3/4: When I sneeze, some food always comes out in my hand.

LG age 4 3/4: What do (sic) ear wax do? Is it a creature?

  4. Thanks for commenting, everyone, I really appreciate it 🙂
I think these are one of the funniest sets of questions yet – I love kids’ obsession with bodies and bodily functions and their complete innocence and lack of embarassment when talking about them.
Quite, James! You made me chuckle there! 🙂

  6. It’s amazing, isn’t it?!
I suppose the rest of the questions are fairly logical, Actually Mummy, it’s just the things that we prefer not to talk about in public places (or sometimes at all!).
Thank you both for commenting 🙂
