I ran my first parkrun on 23rd May 2015. On 21st May 2022, I ran my 250th parkrun. The 250th parkrun is a big milestone, marked with a special green Tshirt. Parkrun has a series of milestones that runners and volunteers work towards – 10 (for under 18s only), 25 (recently introduced), 50, 100, 250 and 500 runs. 2021 started just as most of 2020 had ended – with a lot of uncertainty! With Covid cases still rising, would we be able to get back to races this year? Would parkrun come back?
