Ah cherry blossom! What a wonderful sight and with us all leading quieter lives at the moment, don’t you find you notice these things more (well I do anyway!). There’s quite a bit of blossom near us as it happens. Been considering photographing it myself. Maybe I should make more of an effort.

Thank you! I think I notice it about as much as I have the last few years. I took this photo in terrible wind and rain, which wasn’t ideal conditions, but I know how briefly the blossom stick around, so couldn’t afford to wait!

Lovely spring blossoms
March 29, 2021
Thank you! Sadly they’re not mine, but it’s lovely to see them when I’m out walking and running.

Yay for sign of spring!
March 29, 2021
We definitely need the signs of spring this year!

I love blossom, I’m getting some trees for my garden this year and I’m thinking I need one with lots of blossom.
March 29, 2021
Oh yes, you definitely need one with blossom! I love blossom too and wish it would stick around for a bit longer.

Wow, now that is a tree full of bloom
Thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto

It’s beautiful, isn’t it? Sadly in the local park rather than my garden!
March 28, 2021
That is so pretty. It’s such a shame that it’s only around for such a short time x
March 29, 2021
Thank you, it’s lovely, isn’t it? Sadly not mine! Some of the trees literally seem to be in full bloom for about three days. x

That’s so beautiful! We’re still waiting for the big tree outside our house to blossom. I’ll certainly share a photo when it does. #MySundayPhoto

They’re lovely, aren’t they? Sadly not mine! We have a magnolia tree which is stunning, but I would love a cherry blossom tree too.
March 28, 2021
I’m so longing for a cherry blossom tree in the front garden once we decide if we’re staying in this house or moving #mysundayphoto
March 29, 2021
They are so lovely! We had one at our old house, but sadly not at this one. These were in the park!

I love cherry blossom. Ours’s isn’t even at the bud stage yet, just as well as it’s so windy. I do love it xx

It is beautiful, isn’t it? It does always amaze me how far behind nature is in Scotland. Hopefully not too long until yours is out too. x

Thanks very much. The trees looked so beautiful.
