Treads are kindly supplying one pair of school shoes to the winner. They also kindly supplied me with two pairs of school shoes for my kids to try. #ad
It’s that time of year again when we start thinking about school shoes for the big return to school. Let’s be honest, we nearly all buy new school shoes when the kids have been off school for six or seven weeks. But, by the time they go back, many kids will have been off school for five and a half months – my own included. There are going to be a lot of kids needing new school shoes!
And the good news is that I’ve got one pair of school shoes from Treads to give away on my blog this week.
You will notice from the pictures that the shoes we’ve been trying out are rather big. That’s because they belong to my size 10 son, who is going into year 12, and my size 5 daughter, who is going into year 10.
But your kids don’t have to be at secondary school to benefit from this giveaway!
We chose the Turin for my son and the Dakota Oxford for my daughter. But Treads make school shoes to fit pupils from reception through to year 13. So the winner can choose the perfect shoe for their child.
All Treads shoes come with a 12 month indestructible guarantee, which will certainly be put to the test by my son and his lunchtime football.
They also come with dual fit technology – this allows you to customise your fit easily. They come as a standard F/G fitting with the option of removing the dual-fit eva undersock to provide a wider G/H fit. My son has always had very wide feet, so needless to say, we have had to remove it for him, as you can see in the picture.
If you’re not sure what size to choose, Treads recommend you go down a bit, so for example, if your child comes up in a size 3 usually, they would recommend the 2.5-3. However, this is up to you, especially if you think your child may be due a growth spurt!
The giveaway is open for just a week from today. It closes at 11.59pm on Thursday 30th July, so what are you waiting for? Just follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter widget below to take part.
