Regular readers will know that I like clothes which are casual and comfortable. I particularly like clothes from Superdry. I was very pleased when J D Williams asked if I’d like to choose some clothes for winter from their site. I thought I’d find something casual and comfortable – a jumper maybe, or some boots? Perhaps even a coat? I thought I’d find something warm (I get very cold in winter and I really dislike being cold).
But I didn’t expect to find anything from Superdry on the site.
But amongst the women’s, men’s and kids’ clothes, plus all the home, electrical and beauty stuff, I found a small range of Superdry items! And amongst those I found the rather nice Superdry Sport Active Hybrid Jacket. It’s halfway between a hoodie and a coat – kind of like a hoodie with a gilet attached.
It will be great for running on very cold days. It’s made of quick-drying polyester, with a high zip to keep you warm in the wind. It also has two zip pockets, essential for exercising outdoors, so you can safely carry your keys and phone. To be honest, I like it a bit too much to just keep for running. It would be good for wearing before or after a race, but I’ll probably just wear it every day because it’s so nice!
And did I mention that it’s pink? I really love pink and always have. Although I’m usually wearing black jeans and something grey on top, there will generally be some pink in there somewhere too – either a pink hoodie or a pink T-shirt.
And talking of pink… I also chose a pink knitted jumper (not from Superdry this time) to keep me warm. Working at home on my own, I will never have the heating on in the daytime because it’s both a waste of money and bad for the environment. But I really feel the cold! I wear a lot of layers. The jumper is perfect for adding an extra layer. It’s long enough to cover that annoying cold gap between my T-shirt and my jeans (does everyone have one of those or just me?!), and I can also fit it under a hoodie or gilet if I need to.
So I’m ready for winter with J D Williams!
I was sent these items from J D Williams for the purposes of this review. All opinions, Superdry obsessions and cold houses are my own.
