Project 365 2015 Week 15

This week, we got away from it all! It wasn’t the plan, as the kitchen works were supposed to start much earlier than they actually did, but it was such a relief to escape endless noise, dust, disruption, extension cables and microwave meals!

Here’s our week in pictures…

Day 95 – Sunday 5th April – Easter day. I took some lovely photos, but not only did they all include my kids, they included my niece and new nephew too, so here’s a funny picture of Daisy the guinea pig!

Day 96 – Monday 6th April – we arrived at Center Parcs Longleat Forest! It’s one of our very favourite places to go on holiday.

Day 97 – Tuesday 7th April – a very active day at Center Parcs! I went running, my kids did tree trekking and played tennis, we went swimming in the evening and did an awful lot of walking in between (I did 17, 705 steps walking, not including in the swimming pool or tennis court, plus 5,998 running steps!).

Day 98 – Wednesday 8th April – my mum and dad came to visit us for the day at Center Parcs and we had another lovely day.

Day 99 – Thursday 9th April – we’ve been to Center Parcs many times over the years, but we found a different route to walk in the evening.

Day 100 – Friday 10th April – we said farewell to Center Parcs Longleat Forest, but the younger kids and my husband had time for aqua jetting before we set off for home.

Day 101 – Saturday 11th April – I’m pleased to say that our kitchen has made good progress in our absence. Not too many days to go now!
