  1. im sad to say I hate garden fireworks, it sounded like Armageddon at our house this week and one firework bounced off a garage door and almost hit me when I was putting the bins out!

    • That is scary! We’ve never had garden fireworks before and we had them very early so we wouldn’t have kept even the smallest children awake!

  2. It took me a while to work out what that was! I’ve refused to allow the husband to set off fireworks in the garden, it just fills me with so much fear!

    • It scare me a bit, but it was fine. This is the first time we’ve had them, although he’s been promising/ threatening them for years!

  4. Oh yes, the morning after. We did garden fireworks one year at my in-laws – there were so many rocket sticks sticking up in the garden that it put me off doing it again.

  5. Ooohhh an aftermath of a nice celebration! We werent able to do anything about bonfire nights as its raining cats and dogs (not that we have fireworks but we usually watch the neighbors) so its nice to see other people who was able to celebrate it =) #mysundayphoto

  8. ooooh aaaaaah pretty etc! 😉 We utterly failed to see any – the local display was on Wednesday at 8pm which was way to late for Syd to be out – seemed a bit daft to me!

    • We made all the right noises! What is it about fireworks that makes people do that? Our local display was 7.30, but I gave it a miss in favour of our tiny garden display!

    Our garden ones were rubbish this year, but with hubby in work, I had to have small ones, for safety xx
