Have seen the FB update so very well done you – inspirational as I can barely do the school run comfortably.
Years since I have visited Cheltenham – once turned up with my parents as a child as very weary travellers on our way to Cornwall on holiday. Stayed over and the lady brought us beautiful freshly made sandwiches served in a wonderful lounge with huge skirting boards – you brought back a very sweet memory today – thank you
Oh how I wish I could run but I couldn’t even catch a bus never mind run a half marathon.
Congratulations… I suppose it’s an ice bath for you now.
Brrr… that’s another reason why I couldn’t do it!
Now rest and enjoy your Sunday
You must’ve finished running by now, maybe have sore feet but ultimately be very proud of your achievement.
Well done – it’s more than I could do!

Thank you! What a lovely thing to say – and a lovely memory of Cheltenham. I think it makes a good stop-off on the way from Cornwall to the north.
