Project 365 – Week 2

Week 2 of Project 365 and it has been an exciting, amazing, busy and stressful week. It’s been a week we’ve been waiting for since way back last July when we first looked round the house of our dreams. It’s been a long time coming – I thought it would happen in October half-term, then 8th November was mentioned, then 22nd November was agreed, then it went a bit wobbly and we ended up in a rented house – albeit my friend’s house, only two doors down from our old house.

This is our exciting week in photos.

Day 5 –  Sunday 5th January – shepherd’s delight? A stunning urban sunrise on my morning run (there’s no filter there!)

Day 6 – Monday 6th January – I knew it was happening, but I literally gasped with delight when I saw the removal van at our house-to-be taking the sellers’ stuff away.

Day 7 – Tuesday 7th January – FINALLY we got the keys to this place!

Day 8 – Wednesday 8th January – a work in progress. What our new house looked like for most of the week.

Day 9 – Thursday 9th January – a selfie I never expected to see – me up a ladder painting!

Day 10 – Friday 10th January – it’s been all about the lorries this week! This exciting delivery was photographed through our fabulous lounge window.

Day 11 – Saturday 11th January – we finally moved in! And there’s that window again. I think it’s going to be my favourite part of the house. We’d got nowhere to sit, so my daughter ate her lunch in the window.

Nice to know my photo stood out, Steph! There’s some tough competition there!
Glad so many people like my lounge window 🙂
We didn’t get rid of the green, Suzanne – it was my daughter’s choice of colour! It actually looks amazing now it’s finished.
No doubt lots more ‘work in progress’ pics to come over the coming weeks.
