The Gallery: Fitness

I’ve only recently started doing The Gallery, but I already feel like Tara Cain from Sticky Fingers can see into my brain. The themes reflect my life so well.

Back to school – OK, so that was relevant to a lot of us that week, but even more so for me because my son was starting secondary school.

Beauty – after I’d spent an amazing weekend with the most brilliant and beautiful women at a colleague’s wedding – and we’d taken lots of photos.

Then last week, 8pm – which helped bring together the thoughts I’d had knocking round in my head for weeks about being fed up with bedtimes.

And so to this week. Fitness. And I’ve only just gone and blimmin’ run in the Bristol half marathon. Right now, I am at the absolute height of my fitness.

There are some good pictures of me running, but I’m not going to lie to you, I didn’t take them. You can’t exactly set a timer when you’re running.

So instead I am representing my run with a few bits of pieces from the day, including my very sexy and very un-me new Sweaty Betty running vest.

This post was written in response to a prompt from Sticky Fingers.

  1. Well done – I can’t stand running so am always impressed when someone has the stamina to do such things x

  2. Good for you. Running has never been my thing, although I do do it from time to time but I am much happier now I have Zumba in my life.

  7. Well done! Very good achievement 🙂 I’m rubbish at cycling – I ride a bike at about the same speed as I drive!
