  1. Oh, what a gorgeous photo. I love the turbines too. Is the sun coming up or going down? #MySundayPhoto

    • Thanks very much! It was going down. This is the phenomenal view from my MIL’s house. I just couldn’t take me eyes off it!

    • I always love seeing them, but they’re a novelty for me because we don’t have any near where we live.

  4. What a view, I can imagine sitting there with a drink in my hand.

    • Except it was just taken through my MIL’s window rather than an exotic holiday location! She’s very lucky to see sunsets like this all the time.

  5. Well I could look at this for ages. The sun and the turbines and the channel, so much going on in this image. Wonderful picture Sarah.

    • Thanks very much! The turbines and the glimpse of river seem to really enhance it. Amazed that my MIL gets to see this from her house every day.

  8. Hi Sarah, the colours are beautiful. Turbines always make me think of War Of The Worlds! Are they coming to take over?

    • It’s amazing, isn’t it? I think it helps that my MIL lives quite high up and she has a nice, wide window!

  12. Gorgeous. I think I’ve seen about 2 sunsets that are worth photographing over the last 3 months. They’ve been in short supply here

    • We don’t see them very well from home as there is a big house in the way. This was taken from much higher up so the view was so much better.
