Loud ‘n’ Proud 14.7.16

Wow, the year is flying away with us and it’s the end of the school year already, give it a day or two. (My kids are finishing on three different days, just to complicate matters.)

I don’t know about you, but there’s something about the end of the school year that makes me proud. It’s a time to reflect, to look back on all your kids have achieved that year, how they’ve grown and developed, what they’ve learned…

  • If your little one has finished reception and you’re in awe of their reading or how they’ve made friends
  • If your 11 year old is bidding a fond farewell to primary school and you’re reflecting on their time there and all the fantastic things they’ve done
  • If your teenager is taking a well-earned break after working really hard for their GCSEs or A-Levels…

You’ve got something to be loud ‘n’ proud about!

And it’s not just these key milestones that make us proud. What about sports day? Maybe your child won all their races or they showed really good sportsmanship and supported the other children?

This week, I’m feeling proud of everything my whole family has achieved at Parkrun over the last few months. We run it most weeks and we all try hard and keep improving on our times.

So if you’re feeling loud ‘n’ proud of any achievements today, no matter how big or small, please add them to the linky so we can all share in your pride. It would be great if you could display the badge to spread the word too.

(And it doesn’t just have to be school stuff, or even the kids, it can be yourself, your partner, your friends or your parents – anything that makes you proud!)

Don’t forget to be nice and share the love by commenting on others’ posts.

Loud ‘n’ Proud is hosted by myself, 3 Children and It and Mama Owl in turn. This will be the last Loud ‘n’ Proud before the summer holidays, but we’ll be back in September, refreshed and full of proud moments to share! Hope you all have a good summer.

  1. Thanks for hosting. I think my most proud post will be after this week but it’s going to be strange not writing about school and achievements once the holidays are here. Hope you have a good hols.
