The Next pink bunny jumper was my husband’s choice. I wasn’t sure if my daughter would like it, for a number of reasons. First, it’s pink. Her love affair with pink started declining about the age of 5 and she’d completely gone off it by the time she was 7, as happens to so many girls. Secondly, it’s very fluffy. And thirdly, it’s possibly a tiny bit babyish.
But it turns out Daddy made a very good choice, because my daughter loves everything about the jumper. It is hard to describe how soft it is, suffice to say it really is INCREDIBLY soft – and my daughter loves clothes that are soft and comfortable. Itchy clothes, clothes with funny seams or sticking out labels are her absolute worse nightmare.
My daughter also likes clothes with rabbits on, so that’s a bonus as so do I! Last year’s forest creatures prints seem to have moved aside for pets, mainly cats and dogs. My daughter doesn’t like cats, and she’s not overly keen on dogs, so that’s a whole lot of clothes she won’t wear. Now if Next or M&S would consider making clothes with guinea pigs on, we would be so there!
She’s wearing the pink bunny jumper with some denim shorts we got in Sainsburys at one of their 25% off events. They came with a pair of nautical striped tights, which she hasn’t worn yet, but I’m sure she will at some point. She’s also wearing a pair of navy leggings, which were part of a set with a green striped tunic dress from Next.
The outfit is finished off with her good old green Converse. With winter fast approaching, I expect to see these switched for her new Clarks biker boots very soon!
