Project 365: Week 24

Day 159 – Sunday 8th June – the boys got back from Scout camp! These rucksacks were full of damp, muddy, smelly clothes.

Day 160 – Monday 9th June – I don’t generally do selfies, but this one has meaning. This was the day I finally got confirmation I was going to go on roaccutane to treat the acne I’ve had for nearly 30 years.

Acne, selfie

Day 161 – Tuesday 10th June – I spotted these cobwebs glinting in the evening sun in the garden.

Day 162 – Wednesday 11th June – I was so happy to win these vouchers in the Britmums/ Belvita competition. They mean I can finally get my younger son some drawers for his room!

Day 163 – Thursday 12th June – my husband’s birthday. It was a lovely, sunny day, so we took the opportunity to go for a ride in his little car. I took this photo while we were driving.

Day 164 – Friday 13th June – I enlisted my daughter’s help to take photos of my potential Britmums Live outfits (more on that tomorrow). She looked so gorgeous taking pictures that I took one of her.

Day 165 – Saturday 14th June – England play their first game of the World Cup tonight, so we had a little barbecue with my family to celebrate and all the kids have England Tshirts.

  5. Well done on the win 🙂 Love the cobweb snap – I only ever get them on camera when frosty. Good luck with the medication too. Btw I didn’t make it to see the photo – too many ales 😉

  6. Oh I hope you get a good result with the medication. I love pictures of children with a good camera – I think they see things differently to us. Especially like the off-centre framing in the last shot x

  7. Now that’s the second week in a row you’ve said “I don’t normally take selfies”….I don’t believe you any more! My boy just returned home with a rucksack full of smelly clothes today – yuck!

    • I really don’t take them! But this was an important one to take. I might do them monthly to chart my progress. Boo to the smelly rucksacks!

  10. Great win! And fab that you’re getting treatment at last. I think your husband’s “little” car looks rather special – I’d love a classic!

    • The car certainly is special! You can certainly tell when you’re riding in it and we get stares wherever we go!

  11. Well done on the win. Like the last one of your daughter. Very like me at that age long hair in plaits and freckles, but much better glasses (think blue National Health for mine).

    • Ooh, yes, my brother had a few rather special pairs of NHS specs as a kid too.
