The Great Gift Company review

If you’re looking for gifts for Father’s Day, you could do a lot worse than check out The Great Gift Company which stocks gifts for boys and men from all ages – from 2, through tweens and teenagers right up to Daddies and Grandads. So we were very pleased when The Great Gift Company asked us if we’d like to choose anything from their site.

Now we could have chosen something for Daddy, what with Father’s Day coming up, but we chose something for the boys instead!

As it’s half-term and the weather hasn’t been great, we decided to cover all bases and choose some indoor fun AND some outdoor fun. The boys went for a badminton and tennis set for the garden and Bananagrams to keep them busy (and their brains working!) in the house. We were very pleased that our parcel arrived quickly.

The badminton and tennis set contains four badminton racquets, three shuttlecocks, two tennis racquets, two tennis balls and a net – all for the bargain price of £35! My younger son was so pleased with it, he literally gasped as he opened up the set. I’m hoping the whole family will get lots of time playing with it over half-term and in the summer holidays. As well as playing in the garden, we will definitely be packing it up to take on holiday in the summer to keep us busy on the beach. It’s a great idea if you don’t want to lose or break more expensive equipment while you’re out.

Containing lots of little tiles with letters on, Bananagrams reminds me of Scrabble, although it has no board. It’s a fun way of spending a few minutes (or even hours) with the family, and usually ends in a laugh (when people make up rude words, which of course I wouldn’t advise!).

There’s lots more to choose from on The Great Gift Company site and it’s well worth a look for that special man in your life – whether he’s 2, 32, 52 or 82!

We were given a Banagrams game and a Badminton and tennis games set by The Great Gift Company for the purposes of this review. All opinions are our own.

  2. Bananagrams are epic, I’ve been meaning to get us a set for ages. I’m always stumped for gifts, so good shout, I’ll check this out…though I’m pretty sure if I got OH or my dad Bananagrams they would know I’d really got them for myself!

    • We had Bananagrams before, but lost a lot of the pieces, so it’s been great to replace it and start playing again.
