Project 365: Week 14

Day 89 – Sunday 30th March – my son’s under 10s County Cup finals day. Here’s the team having a last minute pep talk before the semi-final.

Day 90 – Monday 31st March – my first proper day as a ‘freelancer’ (not that I have any work yet). So I bought some padlocks for the shed!

Day 91 – Tuesday 1st April – My kids performed in a concert at school – my son playing his guitar and my daughter singing with the choir. I took this photo of my daughter as she walked to school.

Day 92 – Wednesday 2nd April – A lovely spring day and another view of the beautiful blossom in my garden.

Day 93 – Thursday 3rd April – Another day, another rugby tournament for my younger son – this time the schools’ tournament. They won lots of their games and I was so proud of him. I love the sheer determination on his face here.

Day 94 – Friday 4th April – my husband suggested we went for a walk in the evening (which is VERY out of character) and we headed for the hills. It was lovely to spend some time in the fresh air as the sun went down.

Day 95 – Saturday 5th April – my blog has shifted over to WordPress self-hosted. It looks fabulous and I’m spending time getting to grips with it (when I should be doing housework!).

    • Thanks very much. It is lush up there! We don’t usually go up in the evening, so the view was different to what we’re used to.

    • Thanks very much, Kriss! I think it’s the red brick wall and the delicate dress that work in that pic of my daughter. It was one of those that turned out better than expected!

  12. I love that you spent your first day as a freelancer buying padlocks – shouldn’t you be making money rather than spending it. I am always so jealous of your daughter’s hair, it is really beautiful. My favourite this week is on the hill; such a lovely photo.

  13. Well, we needed padlocks Nikki otherwise our bikes might have got nicked! It was one of those little jobs I never got round to, so I used my time kind of wisely! I’ll aim to start earning money after Easter!
