  1. Thanks very much for your comments, ladies. Really appreciate that.
Funny how it would have been raining with you too, Pinkoddy!

  2. Very clever shot .. Looks like the trees reflection has leaves because of the position in the water . Well done x

  4. Thanks very much, everyone! That was the calm between the storms! It was so beautfiul I had to take a picture. Surprised at how well it turned out, actually. The water receded a bit after that and is worse than ever again today! We’re lucky, we didn’t get flooded. This is the park down the road – the road floods, but not the houses.

  5. PS rugby has been cancelled, S.A.M. It was cancelled yesterday and then the road that runs alongside the ground was closed last night due to flooding, so it must be in a pretty bad way!

  9. Thanks very much everyone 🙂
Took this one on Friday, Suzanne – between one massive rainfall and another. It was worse on my run this morning and nowhere near as beautiful.
You guessed right, Joanna – definitely not supposed to be a lake there!
It’s been a pleasure, Steph, I’ve enjoyed it!
